Day 1 mendocino

Meet in San Francisco Shuttle to the family-owned Navarro vineyards for a delicious Backroads picnic  Continue to historic Mendocino - a delightful seaside village known for its shops, galleries and impressive Pacific vistas  A short spin along the coast provides a great introduction to the area. 

 

Day 2 gualala

Ride above the crashing surf, where wildflowers rim the narrow winding road and color the meadows As the fog slowly lifts, revel in views of some of California’s most magnificent scenery Stop at Point Arena Lighthouse and Museum for a nautical history lesson.

 

Days 3-4 occidental

Tackle the coastal hills, passing rugged bluffs and a string of Sonoma County beaches to the small town of Occidental Take time out for a spa treatment or in-room massage  Head inland for a riverside ride in the Russian River Valley, famous for its pinot noir and chardonnay  Bike in the shade of stately redwoods en route to charming Healdsburg Favorite stops include the J. Days 5-6 olema

Pedal along Tomales Bay to Point Reyes National Seashore, a spectacular wilderness of beaches, bays, dunes and forests A challenging final ride takes you up and over Mount Tamalpais and through the town of Sausalito before an exhilarating bike across the Golden Gate Bridge, with its panoramic views of the bay, ocean, San Francisco skyline and Angel Island.
