The Luce apartment is located in an ancient house that has been completely renovated. It is an attractive second floor walk-up apartment. One enters into a very appealing and comfortable living room that is tastefully furnished with antiques. Floors are "cotto" and ceilings are wood beamed. At one end of the living room is a round dining table for four and a buffet for dishes. Although the sofa can open up into a bed for two people, we prefer to rent the apartment to two rather than four people, but it is suitable for a couple or two singles. There is a telephone in the apartment (laptops can be connected by modem) and an Italian-language only TV. To the left is a fully equipped reasonable size kitchen with a sink, gas stove with oven and four burners, fridge and clothes washing machine. There are numerous tempting small restaurants nearby, so we think most people will probably just use it for breakfast and perhaps lunch and only the occasional dinner, but those who like to cook will not be disappointed.

The bedroom has a queen bed, desk and bureau and wardrobe for clothing storage. Next to the bedroom is a modern bathroom with shower, WC, bidet and sink. The apartment is also equipped with a radio, good central heat and has windows that let in daylight for all three of the main rooms.
