Days 6-8 Ngorongoro
Conservation Area

Spend these
days supporting the local volunteer work project. Your generous
commitment of time and energy will certainly help to encourage
Tanzania’s children to pursue their creative and academic
interests.
The students you will have met may continue, as a direct result
of your support, to secondary school and eventually to college
as well. When you depart, you will have left behind a lasting
and positive impact on this community. These young students
are Tanzania’s leaders of tomorrow.

As you reach the top of the
escarpment wall, your first glimpse of Ngorongoro's crater
floor is nothing short of awe-inspiring. The world’s
largest unbroken caldera, the crater is a geologic marvel,
and in addition, boasts some of the densest wildlife populations
in the world.
In the evening, you will return to your Nyumba, high on the
escarpment wall. At this elevation, temperatures are cool
year-round, take advantage of the roaring fire, sitting in

and talking about all the day’s interesting sightings.
