Throughout your voyage, our staff of Naturalists and Historians, share their knowledge and enthusiasm for the region through talks, on walks and during recaps over cocktails at the end of the day. Of course, there will be plenty of time to explore, swim and snorkel (instruction and gear provided). From experience we have found that some of our guests are eager to take advantage of every single activity, while others are so captivated by the ship, they need extraordinary inducements to leave their deck chairs. You'll have eight luxurious never to be forgotten days that will leave you feeling peaceful and refreshed as if you've been away for a month or more.

Day 1 - U.S./St. John's, Antigua/Embark

Fly to St. John's, Antigua. Embark Sea Cloud II and immediately feel transported by her ambiance. Join us on deck as we cast lines and set sail.

Day 2 - Under Sail

"All hands on deck!" cries the Captain. Cheer on the crew as they scurry aloft, setting more sail than you may have ever seen - up to 29,600 square feet, all set by hand! The officers talk about crew maneuvers and square-rigger terminology.

Day 3 - Iles des Saintes

Iles des Saintes are decidedly French islands with lovely beaches. We'll anchor off Terre-de-Haut. Don some gear for quality snorkeling. Visit charming shops, galleries and cafes. Or walk with our Historian up to Fort Napoleon for panoramic vistas. The afternoon is under sail.

Day 4 - St. Kitts

With a mountainous interior and rugged coastline, St. Kitts is quite striking. A bit off the beaten path, it is extremely accommodating to travelers. Visit the imposing Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park and the Romney Gardens, or wander on your own in the small but bustling town of Basseterre.

Day 5 - Under Sail

We devote an entire day at sea, under sail. It's magical to sail past islands with no temptation to go ashore.

Day 6 - North Bay of Virgin Gorda

The azure waters and island shorelines are ideal for exploration. Land with Zodiacs on isolated beaches, or visit the landmark Bitter End Yacht Club, where you can hire a kayak, windsurfer sail kite or sailboat, or discover the undersea by snorkeling. This evening join our beach barbecue.

Day 7 – Anguilla

Today is devoted to relaxing on one of Anguilla's offshore islands. Swim, snorkel and enjoy a final morning of liming. We'll hoist sails in the afternoon for a final blue-water sail

Day 8-St. John's / Disembark/U.S.

After breakfast, disembark in St. John's harbor and drive to the airport.

Notes on Itinerary: Itineraries and prices are subject to change. We reserve the right to impose surcharges based on increases in the actual cost of fuel.

Single Travelers: Single rates available in cabin category 1 or 2 only. We will make arrangements for shares at the double occupancy rate in category 1 only.

Cost Includes: All accommodations aboard ship and all meals, wine and beer with lunch and dinner, and non alcoholic beverages aboard ship, transfers when group flights are used, taxes and service charges, use of snorkel gear, services of a ships physician and services of our expedition staff.

Not Included: Air transportation, passport, visa and security fees, immigration fees, meals not indicated, insurance of any kind, items of a personal nature such as alcoholic beverages not indicated above. Gratuities to ships crew at your discretion.

Accommodations Aboard: Life aboard Sea Cloud II, for all its elegance, is completely informal. Dress is casual: relax on deck in a swimsuit, daytime exploring in khakis and dinner in cottons or casual silks. Dinner is a congenial, elegant, personal event, where assigned seating is not required for easy mingling. The menu has a touch of nouvelle cruising, enhanced by authentic local flavors, with lots of fresh fruit and locally harvested seafood that bring the rich flavors of the Caribbean to you plate. And, complimentary wine and beers are served with lunch and dinner.

Qualifications: This trip is available to any traveler with a love of nature and sense of adventure.
