Day 1 - Arrival to Puerto Maldonado airport

Transfer from the airport to the river port and set out on a motorboat for 45 minutes down the Madre de Dios River to RESERVA AMAZONICA. After lunch, enjoy a guided walk along the lodge's trail system. Enjoy Nature Presentations on Amazonian topics. Reserva Amazonica offers some of the best cuisine in the Amazon. After dinner, take a nocturnal walk, and try animal identification through sounds and footprints.

Day 2 - Rolin Island - Lake Sandoval

Enjoy a tropical buffet breakfast at the lodge. You will have a morning excursion to Rolin Island to observe various monkey species. Visit wetlands flooded ecosystem, boat up the Madre de Dios River and take a 1-hour trek to Lake Sandoval. Photograph an Amazon sunset and return downstream to RESERVA AMAZONICA observing caimans and nocturnal birds along the ride.

Day 3 – Depart

Return to Puerto Maldonado airport, visiting a Butterfly Farm en route.
