Day 1 - Arrive Belize

Your romantic getaway begins with a scenic flight from Belize City to the Caribbean town of Dangriga. Upon arrival in Dangriga you are greeted by our local representative and transferred to Jaguar Reef Lodge. Upon check-in you are greeted with fresh tropical flowers and candles in your room. Enjoy a romantic dinner overlooking the Caribbean. At Jaguar Reef you will be surrounded by acres of reef and rainforest with unlimited opportunities for snorkeling, diving, fishing, biking, kayaking and hiking through these pristine and protected eco systems. Our Barrier Reef is recognized as one of the world's finest snorkel and dive sites. Exotic tropical rivers, Mayan ruins and jungle hikes are only minutes away. The Sittee River, nearby cayes, and wide flats offer some of the best fishing on the planet! The lodge is located on over 300 acres of wilderness with over 1,000 feet of our own prime white sand beach. It is a friendly, laid-back experience with an abundance of Belizean hospitality to share!

All rooms and suites are air-conditioned for your comfort. Artistically raked sand around tropical vegetation lines the pathway leading to your door. As you enter your cabana or suite you will have a sense of spacious privacy - fresh and immaculate. Local artwork and little touches will remind you that you are on an adventure in a very beautiful, natural place. Whether you are relaxing on your cabana porch or on the balcony of your suite, you'll find the views remarkable.

Day 2-7 - Caribbean Coast

Each day explore another dimension of Belize’s reef, ruins and rainforest. Tours included in our package consist of a guided hike in Cockscomb Jaguar Reserve, an exciting exploration of Maya ruins and dramatic waterfalls, a canoe trip on the tranquil Sitee River, a snorkeling excursion to Belize’s world famous barrier reef, and a bird-watching tour. You may choose to purchase other tours such as horseback riding, cave tubing, or more Maya ruins at an additional cost. Guests also have unlimited access to mountain bikes, sea kayaks and fishing gear. Spend your days actively exploring Belize before returning to the lodge for a romantic walk and candlelight dinner. Overnights are in standard rooms (beachfront upgrades available).

Day 8 – Depart

Return to the Dangriga airport for your short flight back to Belize City.
