Stockholm, Sweden / Cruising the Swedish Archipelagos
The nickname, “Venice of the North,” hardly does justice to Stockholm's uniquely beautiful natural setting. Lovely islands are laced with an intricate network of canals and bridges, gabled houses lean over narrow alleyways in the old town, and a magnificent 17th-century palace overlooks the wide harbor. Dover / Disembark / Transfer to a centrally located First-Class Hotel in London
You'll arrive into Dover very early on Day 14. After breakfast, disembark and enjoy a panoramic city tour on the way to your centrally located First-Class hotel. Curb your hunger with lunch on your own before checking into the hotel. Take the evening off — do as you wish with your free night. Or, join an optional Thames River Cruise Tour, complete with dinner.
The next day is at leisure or you can go on the optional Windsor Castle Tour. Either way, lunch is on your own — perhaps a great opportunity to try ye olde pub fare! The evening, also unscheduled, is another perfect chance to savor some local cuisine and see the city by night. If you'd rather, Vantage has arranged a special optional event consisting of an evening at the theater — we always pick a current best-selling show for you! — and dinner at the hotel.
Day 16 is your last full day in London. See all those places and things you haven't yet had the time to. Do what you haven't yet done, or, perhaps participate in the optional Full-day Blenheim Palace & Oxford Tour.
