Sunday
We meet in the 15th-century Chвteau de Marзay near Chinon for our Welcome Dinner and Introductory Talk. Overnight: Marзay

Monday
We go to Seuilly, home of the gourmand Rabelais then take a gentle walk through field and forest to the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, where we stop for a visit and lunch in the old Cloisters. A short walk brings us to Montsoreau on The Loire to see (and play!) the ancient game of “Boules de Fort” before walking along the Vienne river and a quick ride back to our hotel for a swim. Early evening visit to the medieval city of Chinon and dinner. Overnight: Marзay

Tuesday
A short ride along The Loire to take a sailboat into Saumur, to walk through this charming town, home to the famous Cadre Noir, the French Cavalry and National Riding School before lunch inside the Chвteau. We walk along The Loire to taste some local wines before being transferred back to our hotel. Overnight: Marзay

Wednesday
Transfer by luxury coach, with a passing glimpse of Azay-le-Rideau then on to Villandry, the Garden Chвteau, for lunch. Following the river Cher, we pass by the delightful Chвteau of Chenonceau, before arriving at our overnight stop, the stunning Chвteau de la Verrerie, the home of the Count Beraud de Vogue, for a relaxing swim before dinner. Thursday
Transfer to Chambolle Musigny, to visit Clos de Vougeot before walking to Vosne Romanee for lunch. In the afternoon we walk to Aloxe Corton for a visit and sample the renowned ‘Cote de Nuit’ wines, then a short ride into Beaune brings us to our Burgundy hotel, the fine Hotel Le Cep. Overnight: Beaune

Friday
An early visit to the Chвteau de Rochepot before walking to Puligny-Montrachet, the mecca of white Burgundy, for a long Dйgustation Lunch. A short afternoon walk to and around the village of Saint Romain and back to our hotel and dinner in the old town. Overnight: Beaune

Saturday
In the morning we visit the market in Beaune then ride to Meursault, from where we walk to Auxey Duresses and into Volnay for lunch. After lunch we walk back to our hotel in Beaune through Pommard forour Farewell Dinner at Le Cep. Overnight: Beaune

Sunday
Morning visit of the famous Hospices de Beaune for those who wish - then we say Au Revoir!
