Day 1: Aloha Oahu

Tauck's Oahu, Big Island and Maui vacations begin at Honolulu International Airport. Your transfer from the airport to The Royal Hawaiian, also known as the legendary "Pink Palace of the Pacific" on the white sands of Waikiki Beach, is included. Dine tonight in one of the most legendary restaurants in Hawaii, The Surf Room.

Day 2: Pearl Harbor memorial

Visit the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor, a tribute to all of the 2,388 military personnel who were killed in the December 7, 1941 attack, known as the Day of Infamy; the battleship is now a National Historic Landmark. Catch sweeping views of Kailua, Kaneohe, and the Pacific Ocean from Nuuanu Pali Lookout. Enjoy a free afternoon, then join us this evening for a welcome reception.

Day 3: Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

Fly to the Big Island of Hawaii, and explore Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. It showcases Mauna Loa, the most massive mountain on earth, and Kilauea, which has been erupting almost continually since 1983, producing rivers of fiery lava. Enjoy lunch at the Volcano Golf & Country Club situated just outside Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, then travel to the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel for a two-night stay.

Day 4: Big day on the Big Island

On your open day, choose among complimentary activities such as snorkeling with green sea turtles, or relaxing with a treatment at the spa. For the ultimate experience, take the optional two-hour helicopter excursion to view the island’s volcanic activity from above.

Day 5: Hawaii’s underwater world

Fly to Maui, and prepare to be amazed at the Maui Ocean Center. It features many of the 680 fish species found in Hawaii in elaborate coral habitats. Other highlights include a tank of translucent jellyfish, a pool of spotted eagle rays, and an enormous aquarium with a clear tunnel that you can walk through to get the feel of being under the sea – sharks swim over your head. Oceanfront resorts highlight Maui vacations, and yours for the next three nights sits on a perfect smile of a beach!

Day 6: Maui magic – Maui vacations at their best

Spend a free day enjoying activities at the resort, or pursuing optional sightseeing opportunities. Attend the evening luau, featuring traditional food, music, and dancing; it's what Maui vacations are all about!

Day 7: Impressive Mount Haleakala

Travel to the 10,023-foot-high rim of Mount Haleakala, the world’s largest dormant volcano and an UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The crater is more than seven miles across and 3,000 feet deep with nine cinder cones, and hosts two endangered species, the nene (Hawaiian wild goose), and the silversword, a specially adapted plant. Enjoy free time in the afternoon, then join us for a final night reception and dinner to mark the end of one of Hawaii's best Oahu, Big Island and Maui vacations!
